Lots of wonderful things about our excursion with your company!

First, although the morning started off with a major disappointment, having sent a few emails (March 11, March 12) to you and still have a mix up on dates I thank you for problem solving everything quickly to make the excursion happen with as little impact as possible to my group. Thank you for bringing in an emergency driver, who transferred our personal belongings. This was so much appreciated that we were still able to enjoy the excursion exactly how it was described on the website without incurring any additional charges. If I had some recommendation to offfer is that a confirmation is sent the day before an excursion is scheduled or a reply is sent when a booked party emails you the days before. I would also appreciate some tips from the driver on how to protect ourselves at the craft market.

Willy was a great driver! He was fun, with a good calm nature and took us to the first excursion. He handled our admissions and provided us with the instructions that we needed. He transferred all of our bags to Ryan’s vehicle and didn’t leave anything behind. He was courteous and super nice. We immediately forgot about the morning issues and wanted to stay with him all day!

The first excursion at Dunn’s River was very fun! There wasn’t many people and we didn’t feel like we were rushed. Our guides were very nice and helped us take many pictures. We have alot of great keepsakes because of them. It was a great time by all of us, even the most nervous of our group felt accomplished after that excursion.

We met our second driver, Ryan, who was super cool! He made the drive fun and was great at explaining things along the way. We loved the extra things he would point out along the drive to the next excursion.

The next excursion at Calypso Rafting was so exciting! There also wasn’t many people the day we went so we felt we had the whole river to ourselves! This was the best experience. The water was so clean and offered the perfect amount of waves for the group. We enjoyed ourselves jumping off the platform and all of us had a wonderful time on the rapids.

After the excursion, Ryan brought us to the local craft market because we wanted to shop a bit but it wasn’t the best experience. When we arrived, our group was immediately split up into smaller groups and weren’t allowed to regroup or walk around together. We were met with some aggressiveness and intimidation and brought to one shop amongst many and made to feel that we couldn’t look at the other shops. We left and I wished that I had not taken the group there in the first place. I would have preferred to hear options for shopping areas that we could have chosen from or being better prepared on what to expect at the local craft market and how they worked a group. I would have preferred a shopping area where everyone felt comfortable and free to walk around without pressure.

Our final stop was Juici Patties, which was the absolute best patties we’ve ever had. We are grateful that we were able to try this on our excursion. I wish the driver had told us about coco bread before we ordered as we didn’t learn about this until much later on our vacation! We absolutely love Jamaican food.

We would highly recommend Excursions in Ocho Rios because of our experience with. Their friendly service, their great prices and the care that they took to make sure we were having a good time really proved that they are the best tour provider in Ocho Rios. We appreciated the group discount that was provided and the responsiveness as we were booking the tour.
