Tour Description
This incredible adventure begins with you being picked up from your cruise Ship Pier, Hotel in Ocho Rios or Runaway Bay and taken on a short ride along the north coast until we arrive at the park where you will go for heart pounding thrills, adventure and breathtaking scenery.
Our Ocho Rios canopy Zipline adventure offers adrenaline rush, unforgettable scenery and moments of peaceful reflection.
After a short scenic drive you arrive at the starting point of an experience that both adults and children can enjoy, it offers breathtaking views, exhilarating activities and Jamaican hospitality by friendly staff members. Upon arrival each person is greeted by a guide, orientation and safety briefing will follow.
This is followed by reading and signing the disclaimer and health declaration forms. This ensures that everyone needs to take responsibility for themselves and their actions.
Harnessing then takes place, and onto the first Zip. You will be required to use a staircase and climb onto platforms to get to the ZipLine rides. From the platforms you zip across the canopy above the river, where catchers are waiting to remove you from the line and place you onto your next line.

From some of the zips you can take a leisurely walk back to base of your next line as you go through a beautiful secret in the park.
After all this action and adventure it's time to relax, take a break and unwind, let the cool Jamaican breeze relieve you of all the stresses of life. If you prefer, you can take a nature walk through the lush greenery in the park.
This is a family adventure and provides an atmosphere perfect for families to spend quality time with loved ones.
The adventure continues as your driver/guide will take you along the coast and then head about two miles inland to begin your river tubing adventure on the White River. On your way to the river, you will get a taste of Jamaica as you pass through local neighbourhoods.
When you arrive at the White River, you will be briefed, placed one person to a river tube and with two experienced river guides who head groups of 5-15 persons at a time down stream. If the group is smaller, you will be provided with one guide to every five tubes. The river tubing guides are fun, very helpful and attentive as you go down stream, they will help you to have fun but always with your safety in mind. Life vests are also available for those who prefer these and there are changing rooms and bath rooms at this point. The tubes are filled out with a bottom which helps you to enjoy your journey.
On your trip down the river you will go through seven rapids and placid pools. The tropical scenery is amazing as you glide downstream on this 45 minutes to 1 hour journey. This is a trip that you won't be forgetting anytime soon.
There is a midway stop as you go downstream where you will have the opportunity to stop and swing on a rope and fall into the river which is about 20ft. deep at this section, before continuing downstream in your tube. Your guide/driver will safeguard your belongings while you go tubing.
After you are finished, your driver/guide will then take you back to your cruise ship. However, you also have the option of going to the Island Village shopping centre or Tajmahal shopping centre which are both walking distance from your cruise ship pier. Here you may do some shopping for souvenirs at the Harley Davidson Store or go do the pool slide at Jimmy Buffet's famous Margaritaville.
The following options are also available after your excursion:
- Enjoy some Jamaican lunch, this includes authentic spicy Jamaican Jerked Pork or Chicken along with unique side orders like Festivals and Bammy (the cost of lunch is not included in the rate).
- Visit Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Sports Bar and Grill by the Beach
- Duty Free Shopping in town and or shopping by the Craft Market

I enjoyed the care and attention given two my two young sons by the Zip Line crew, they were very patient and wanted us to have a good time but safely.
Our guide at the river tubing was Dwight and he sang songs for us all the way down the river.
Our time in Jamaica was very special and we look forward to coming back soon!
