Tour Description
Any family will enjoy this adventure! You will be picked up at your cruise ship pier or Hotel in Falmouth by one of our friendly guides who will take you in an air-conditioned van or bus on a 30 minute ride along Jamaica's scenic north to the stables.
This is truly a fun and enjoyable experience for the whole family! Our horseback riding tour goes through the scenic countryside, onto the shores and swimming bareback with the horses on a beautiful, private beach, experiencing the beautiful rural Jamaican landscape – frolic and revel in the warm Caribbean Sea.
Upon your arrival at the stables, Our trail masters will find a horse suitable to your riding experience. This tour takes you for one of the most unforgettable Caribbean experiences. This horse-riding trail takes you to see panoramic views of Jamaican picturesque mountains and coastline.
Your horseback riding begins at the Sand n' Saddle picturesque private beach. You will receive a safety briefing before setting out on your ride. Helmets are provided and are mandatory to be worn. Your ride will be slow along the trail as most riders are not experienced. Your guide will point out the variety of local vegetables grown by farmers on the rural trail, which will lead you onto a stretch of white sandy beach, where you will experience the tranquil beauty of the Caribbean Sea. Next is a trail that takes you back to the private beach. On arrival at the beach the guides will assist you to dismount your horse so that you can get ready for the swim. Enjoy this once in a Lifetime experience of being on your horse in the sea. When the tide is high your horse will actually swim.
Next, enjoy an exciting river boarding adventure on the historic Rio Bueno river.

We had Uton as our driver/guide. He met us on the cruise ship port right on time and became our friend for the day while in port. My husband and I have never been to Jamaica before so we really appreciated his kind and friendly demeanor. He took us to ride the horses first and we enjoyed this experience and the two guides. Next, Uton took us to the RIO Bueno River for River Kayaking which was also nice. We headed back to the ship after our two activities but Uton surprised us with a stop to buy some Jamaican sugar cane on the way, that was very nice of him!
The Jamaican people are so friendly and nice.
I look forward to coming back soon.
