Tour Description
The Blue Hole and Secret Falls is probably the most sought after tourist attraction in Ocho Rios. There are many unknown waterfalls in Jamaica, but the secret in Ocho Rios is the most accessible one. Travel east of the Ocho Rios town for approximately 4 miles, pass through local communities and then head into the rural hills until we get to the remote Irie Blue & Secret Falls attraction.
The Blue Hole is deep and a lot of fun for good swimmers and divers of all ages. The White River’s blue hazy water adds to the beauty of the surroundings.
Included in this attraction for thrill seekers is a Tarzan Rope swing after which you can jump in the river pool, you may explore small caves, climb behind the water falls, go cliff diving into the river, hike along the river and get covered in clay from the river bank.
Bask in the sun, enjoy the cool breeze in the hills, and spend a day in the Jamaican bush enjoying the beautiful surroundings away from the crowds associated with larger tourist attractions. This is an off the beaten track attraction that supports the local economy, you will be assisted with guides and trained life guards as you go through the property, they are eager to help you enjoy this one of a kind attraction. Bathrooms facilities and changing rooms are also available at the Secret Falls.
We guarantee that you will enjoy this experience, consider it to be your #1 attraction and go away with many memories of adventure and fun. After you have finished climbing, its time to go gliding. It's one wet adventure after the other.
Your driver/guide will take you for a 15 minute ride down toward the coast to begin your river tubing adventure on the White River. On your way to the river, you will get a taste of Jamaica as you pass through local neighborhoods.
When you arrive at the White River, you will be briefed, placed one person to a river tube and with two experienced river guides who head groups of 5-15 persons at a time downstream. If the group is smaller, you will be provided with one guide to every five tubes. The river tubing guides are fun, very helpful and attentive as you go down stream, they will help you to have fun but always with your safety in mind. Life vest are also available for those who prefer these and there are changing rooms and bath rooms at this point. The tubes are filled out with a bottom which helps you to enjoy your journey.
On your trip down the river you will go through seven rapids and placid pools. The tropical scenery is amazing as you glide downstream on this 45 minutes to 1 hour journey. This is a trip that you wont be forgetting anytime soon.
There is a midway stop as you go downstream where you will have the opportunity to stop and swing on a rope and fall into the river which is about 20ft. deep at this section, before continuing down stream in your tube. Your guide/driver will safeguard your belongings while you go tubing.
After you are finished, your driver/guide will then take you back to your cruise ship. However, you also have the option of going to the Island Village shopping centre or Tajmahal shopping centre which are both walking distance from your cruise ship pier. Here you may do some shopping for souvenirs at the Harley Davidson Store or go do the pool slide at Jimmy Buffets famous Margaritaville.

Hi Dwight,
We had an excellent time going to the secret falls and river tubing in Ocho Rios. Grant was an excellent guide. He was on time, friendly, and a safe driver. It was lovely chatting with him and he definitely read the vibe of the group. At the beginning of the trip, he let us know that he’d be happy to take us wherever throughout the day. One of people in our group wanted to go to an authentic Jamaican restaurant and he took us to Linda’s which was an incredible!
My boys wanted to get cornrows so while we were at the restaurant he went and found someone in town who would be willing to do it right at the restaurant. He also took us to a shop to purchase a few souvenirs. When we didn’t see anything we liked, he took us to two other stores.
Best of all, he knew when we are getting tired toward the end of the day and delivered us safely back to our hotel. If we could give him more than five stars we would.
We hope to return to Jamaica one day and will definitely look you up and recommend you to other people traveling to the area.

Fun Times in Jamaica
By far one of the best excursions we have had in the Islands. The Blue Hole and Secret Falls were gorgeous. Even though I was too scared to jump I got to video all my family taking the plunge and enjoying themselves. The River Tube was more my speed and what a great time floating down the river, with a few rapids mixed in, and enjoying the beautiful lush scenery. Our tour guides were very attentive and helpful. We had an amazing time at the blue hole and tubing. The driver was right on time and taught us about local trees, nuts and fruit even showing us examples of different things. The guides we had at the blue hole and tubing were very nice and helpful. My only complaint was the crazy dirt road that you have to drive on to get to the blue hole- but nothing you can do about that :-). If there is a public review I can fill out let me know, I’d love to post something everyone can see as I thought the value we paid was good and the tour was amazing.

It was such a great pleasure to have Ricardo as our private driver. He was very accommodating and personable. I would recommend him and your tour company to all of my family and friends that want to visit Jamaica in the future! We requested if he could take us to an authentic jerk chicken restaurant (Scotchies) after our excursions and we were not disappointed! He took us there after a long day of excursions on our way back to the hotel. It was such a wonderful experience. He went over and beyond our expectations. The key aspect working with Ricardo was that because of his genuine personality, we trusted him very much with our tour, which allowed us to feel very comfortable and welcomed to Jamaica. In addition, I wanted to thank you Boss Dwight, for answering my emails in a timely manner and working around our busy schedule to make the specific excursions we wanted a reality!
